In my on-going quest to ensure you get the very best service, I’m happy to announce a new benefit for all Electric Playground Media clients - a fully staffed, 24 hours a day/7 days a week technical support helpdesk. We now have knowledgeable technical support representatives ready to offer you fast, courteous answers and expert solutions to any question or problem you encounter while using our hosting services.
Issues that can be solved through the Electric Playground Media Helpdesk include:
- Using your hosting account control panel. This includes creating email accounts, forwarders, auto responders, databases, mailing lists, FTP user accounts, and anything else that can be performed from your control panel.
- Help in setting up your email account on your PC in email clients such as Microsoft Outlook, or Windows Mail.
- Assistance when your website is down.
- Help restoring backups of your website should you require it.
- Assistance in resetting passwords.
Please note, there are some conditions to ensure the best service possible:
- Our technical support representatives are here to answer questions and solve problems that relate directly to services provided by Electric Playground Media. We ask that you do not use this service as a general help desk for all of your computer related issues.
- If you require help using content management software provided to you by Electric Playground Media, we provide assistance for Joomla only, and only if Electric Playground Media was contracted to build your site. Any other software that is offered to hosting clients through their control panel are considered third party and therefore we ask that you contact the developers of each software package for the appropriate support.
- In emergency circumstances where you are experiencing a complicated issue that our support representatives cannot resolve, I will still offer direct telephone and remote assistance support. In this situation, telephone support will be offered by appointment only, and depending on the type of issue, the appointment may be deemed as billable.
- I ask all clients to please use the online helpdesk as a first step of resolution for any issue.

If you lose your login credentials, there is a password reset feature available for your convenience.
